Samantha was abducted and imprisoned by her stalker.
After they met in college, Samantha realized a man had an unhealthy obsession with her when he started following her around and leaving her unwanted gifts. In 2014, when he pursued her across state lines, Samatha secured a six-year restraining order against him. Upon returning to her hometown six years later, she noticed his presence, but he kept his distance and remained silent. However, the eerie calm shattered one fateful night in October 2022 when he forcibly entered her home and abducted her, imprisoning her in a homemade cage; getting the idea from the TV Show "You." Samantha is bravely sharing her story of survival and unimaginable trauma.

220: Unfriendly Follower: Cyberstalking Katie
Katie was cyberstalked after accepting a Facebook friend request from a woman she had never met in person. Initially, their messages were amicable, but they soon dove into personal topics, including emotional and mental struggles. Tension escalated when Katie started receiving messages from the woman?s boyfriend, expressing concerns about their relationship. When Katie advised him to leave if he felt it was toxic, she triggered the woman?s retaliation. This included menacing social media posts, fake reviews on Katie?s business page, and messages sent to her friends. Katie now aims to share her experience of cyberstalking to raise awareness about online safety.

After a life-altering accident altered his personality, Sasha severed ties with him. However, this decision only seemed to exacerbate is obsession with her. His stalking behavior escalate to the point where he brazenly trespassed onto her property, issuing threats directed not only at Sasha, but also at her new partner. Seeking legal protection, Sasha sought a restraining order, only to face a retaliatory move as her stalker filed one against her. Kaitlynn was stalked by her abusive ex boyfriend.
What began as a college romance turned into a nightmare astheir relationship spiraled into toxicity. His possessiveness and controlling behavior was out of control, and he even moved into the apartment next door to maintain constant surveillance. The situation reached a terrifying climax when he physically assaulted Kaitlynn several months into their relationship. Despite her fear, she found the courage to leave him. However, her escape only fueled his obsession. He relentlessly pursued her with incessant phone calls and text messages, leaving threatening notes on her car, lurking outside her residence, and attempting to break in through her bedroom window.

217. Destroying Her Life: Stalking Lady J
Lady J was stalked by her ex-boyfriend.
What started as a seemingly ordinary relationship turned toxic within six months; he was possessive, accused her of cheating, and was emotionally abusive.
She attempted to break from the abusive cycle, but he resorted to manipulation tactics, including threats and even a suicide attempt, to coerce her into staying. Despite her efforts to seek help from the police, she found little assistance. When he escalated into stalking, she had no choice but to abandon her business and go into hiding. Lady J lives in constant fear due to her stalker?s relentless pursuit. She has channeled her experiences into something positive by establishing an online community for other survivors of similar situations.

216. Support Group Scare: Stalking Libby
Libby found herself in a distressing situation when she joined a neighborhood Facebook group, and one of the members began stalking her.
After meeting this woman one evening for drinks, Libby sensed warning signs and attempted to maintain an online-only relationship. However, as their friendship progressed, it became evident that toxicity had infiltrated even their virtual exchanges. Taking measures to protect herself, Libby chose to block the individual. But this triggered a series of troubling behaviors, from sending inappropriate emails to reaching out to Libby's acquaintances and spreading falsehoods online; the situation quickly escalated into stalking. The stalker resorted to legal harassment, filing baseless reports with Child Protective Services and even accusing Libby of being the one stalking her. In response, Libby took the necessary steps to involve the authorities, initiating an investigation into her stalker.

Gigi was stalked by a man she met on Tinder. Their relationship progressed, yet due to Gigi being transgender, he insisted on keeping it concealed. One fateful night, the situation turned violent, prompting Gigi to flee and end the relationship.

Despite noticing warning signs in the relationship, the couple moved in together when she found out she was pregnant. The relationship was toxic and the abuse escalated to the point Charlotte knew the relationship was not salvageable. When she ended things, her ex started stalking her. He sent harassing messages to her friends and family and persistently followed her around town, all while she was still pregnant. Things became violent during a road rage incident, and law enforcement urged Charlotte to seek immediate protection with a restraining order.

Helena has become the target of a relentless stalker who obtained her social media handle.
Upon connecting online, he inundated her with disturbing messages. She told him to never contact her again and blocked him. Despite her warnings, he created fake accounts, subjecting Helena to harassment, terrorizing her, and issuing threats of violence, including threats to kill her and set her house ablaze. Fearing for her safety, Helena reached out to the police, but the stalking persisted. Eventually, the situation became so dire that she had no choice but to relocate from her neighborhood to escape the ongoing threat.

209. Telephone Terror: Stalking Cara
Cara was targeted and stalked by a man she had encountered on the internet, with their interactions being solely online and over the phone.
After a few conversations, Cara told the man she was no longer interested and blocked him. Frustrated by his inability to reach Cara, the stalker impersonated law enforcement. Through this ruse, he obtained Cara's personal information from her wireless phone service provider.
Armed with this data and her personal information, he continued to harass Cara, as well as her family, coworkers, and friends. He sent them inappropriate photos of her, issued death threats, and even drove across state lines to show up at her house.

Robert Bigaouette faced relentless stalking from his ex-girlfriend, prompting him to obtain multiple restraining orders against her.
Following their breakup, Robert's former girlfriend escalated her behavior by stalking him and leaving menacing messages on his answering machine. Determined to put an end to the harassment, he sought help from the police and successfully filed two distinct orders of protection.
Drawing inspiration from his own ordeal, Robert transformed his experiences into a fictional novel titled "Twisted Love." Today, he is here to shed light on the real-life events that inspired the fiction in his book.

Case Update: My Sister’s Story: Debbie Riddle
Debbie Riddle is an Anti-Stalking Advocate whose sister Peggy Klinke was stalked and murdered by her ex-boyfriend.
After Peggy?s death, Debbie refused to remain silent about the extreme failures in our criminal justice system and set out on a mission to get the system fixed and began telling Peggy?s story to anyone that would listen.
She caught the attention of Tracy Bahm, the Director of the Stalking Resource Center and they took Peggy?s story to Washington D.C. where they testified at a congressional briefing and declared January, ?National Stalking Awareness Month? in honor of Peggy.
Debbie has spoken throughout the US, at law enforcement trainings, advocate trainings and college campuses and has worked with then Senator Joe Biden, Advocate Erin Brockovich, and Lifetime Television to continue to spread awareness about the dangers of stalking.
Also joining us is Dana Fleitman, the Associate Advisor at the Stalking Prevention, Awareness, & Resource Center (known as SPARC) a project of AEquitas funded by the DOJ Office on Violence Against Women.

After quitting her job and moving to a new town, Skylar began receiving a series of anonymous emails.
The e-mails became vulgar and explicit, asking her to hook up and describing the fantasy of breaking into her house and raping her.
When Skylar didn't reply the sender made threats claiming they would get what they wanted and take their own pics of her moaning and screaming - but that she "probably wouldn't like it."
Skylar discovered that the person responsible was someone she knew well - who also happened to be an Arkansas State Police Officer.
She reveals details of her horrific ordeal and heroic battle to get police to put one of their own behind bars in her new book called Thrillsought: The True Story of the Woman Stalked by Arkansas State Police Officer, Mark Holland.
