The Murder of Lisa Ziegert – A Conversation with District Attorney Anthony Gulluni

On April 15, 1992, Lisa Ziegert was abducted from her job at a card shop and found murdered four days later in a wooded area in Agawam, Massachusetts. This was one of the highest profile unsolved murder cases in the history of the state. In this episode of The Consult, retired FBI profiler Julia Cowley and Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni discuss this case, and DA Gulluni describes the investigation that ultimately led to the arrest and conviction of the offender in 2019.

Mark Twitchell – SK Confessions

In October 2008, filmmaker, aspiring screenwriter, and wannabe serial killer, Mark Twitchell, pretended to be a woman on an online dating website and lured Johnny Altinger to a rented garage under the pretense of a romantic encounter. Instead, Twitchell ambushed Altinger and murdered him in a brutal manner. Twitchell then wrote a document called ?SK Confessions? which detailed his thoughts, plans, and actions related to the murder of Altinger, as well as the attempted murder of Gilles Tetreault. In this episode, retired FBI profilers Julia Cowley, Angela Sercer, and Bob Drew analyze ?SK Confessions? and discuss what they believe it reveals about Twitchell?s true motives.

Profiling Israel Keyes - Part 3

Israel Keyes was a highly mobile serial killer who murdered Bill and Lorraine Currier in June 2011 and Samantha Koenig in February 2012. Keyes is also suspected of murdering several other people. He died by suicide in December 2012. Profiling Joe DeAngelo, Part 1

Known as the East Area Rapist, Original Night Stalker, and Golden State Killer, Joseph James DeAngelo terrorized California from 1974 - 1986. He was infamous for breaking into homes, ransacking them, and sexually assaulting female victims when their male companions were also home. In 2011, FBI agents Julia Cowley and Bob Drew of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, were called in to work on the case and profile DeAngelo who was at the time, still unknown. In the first few episodes of The Consult, Julia and Bob discuss DeAngelo's crimes, his personality traits and characteristics, and the profile they gave to investigators.
